Open Source & AI Governance Specialist

Ciena Corporation

Ciena Corporation in Ottawa is seeking a Senior Software Governance Specialist to strengthen governance across products by reviewing SBOMs, licensing, IP risk, and AI governance. You will partner with engineering, product management, and legal teams to guide the use of third‑party and open source software and ensure compliant disclosures.

As you grow in scope, you will help develop and refine governance frameworks, implement risk controls, and communicate complex technical and compliance topics
