Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic baking assistant to join our team. As a baking assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our bakers and decorators with the preparation and delivery of our freshly made products. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment, we would love to hear from you.

TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED ON SITE

Requirements

• Mature, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Available for afternoon shifts (1pm-5/6pm) and occasional early morning shifts
• Hard working
• Team player
• Can lift a minimum 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Able to work efficiently
• Friendly and engaging with good communication skills
• Early morning and weekend availability
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
• Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines at all times
• Use various techniques to create unique designs and decorations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and food preparation techniques (Food Safety Certification required prior to start of employment)
• Reliable transportation is required - our location is not on a bus route

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
