Restaurant Team Leader

Job Responsibility:

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Team Leader to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests, and leading a team of staff members. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to quality and service standards.
• Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
• Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in training new staff on restaurant policies, procedures, and best practices in food service.
• Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service efficiency and enhancing guest experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas and kitchen facilities.

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
• Proficiency in food service operations, including bartending experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background in hotel or hospitality services is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 24 per week
