Full-Time Patient Experience Specialist Role

Drive improvements in patient care as a Patient Experience and Volunteer Specialist at Southlake Health in Newmarket, ON. This full-time role blends volunteer management with enhancing patient experiences. Reporting to the Manager of Patient Relations, you will facilitate the entire volunteer engagement process, from recruitment to recognition. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate volunteer lifecycle, including training and placement
• Facilitate patient experience initiatives and community engagement
• Develop evaluation processes for volunteer and patient satisfaction
• Collaborate on quality improvement projects using patient feedback
• Support departments in embedding patient-centered practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred
• Minimum of 3 years experience in volunteer management required
• Strong analytical and communication skills necessary
• Proficiency in volunteer management systems an asset
• Must be flexible with work hours, including some evenings
