To join our team of financial services professionals, we are currently accepting applications for two (2) permanent full-time Financial Services Officers (FSO) to provide professional financial advice and exceptional service to our membership.

Responsibilities:

The FSO is responsible for delivering personalized financial advice, loan and deposit related services, and tailored, value-driven solutions to members, helping them to achieve their financial goals. The FSO builds relationships, drives business development activities, and achieves sales and service objectives through a strong understanding of financial products, uncovering member needs, and a commitment to exceptional member experiences. With a strong focus on community engagement, networking, and relationship-building, the FSO proactively seeks business opportunities.

The Person:

A strong candidate has:

• Ability to develop business to achieve deposit and loan growth goals
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Sound judgement and credit analysis skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage risk effectively and understand asset and liability management
• Ability to maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements

Education/Experience:

The successful candidate will have completed Grade XII plus a one to two-year related program at the community college level OR certificate or diploma at the university level. The incumbent will also have one to three years' related experience and/or training in a financial institution, sales and service, credit management, or another relevant environment. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Compensation:

We offer a comprehensive salary and benefit package for this position including an employee pension, health, dental, life insurance and a long-term disability plan, days off for volunteer activities, an annual health and wellness benefit, vacation days, sick days and personal days, as well as paid professional development education and training. The Salary Range for this position is $46,278.42 - $54,445.20. In addition to our robust total compensation package, the chosen candidate in each position will receive a signing bonus of $5000 upon the successful completion of their probationary period.
