Sr Engagement Quality Review Audit- Part Time

About this Job:
Our client, a boutique accounting firm with a strong focus on cross-border transactions and the US capital markets, is currently seeking a Senior Engagement Quality Review Auditor/ Consultant (Remote) to join their audit team in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements for companies listed in the US or preparing for IPOs.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Support Engagement Quality Reviews by ensuring audit files are complete, accurate, and aligned with PCAOB standards.
- Research and address technical accounting and auditing issues relevant to SEC reporting and cross-border audits.
- Collaborate with senior audit team members on internal process improvements, technical updates, and firm training initiatives.
- Participate in internal quality control activities, including pre-issuance reviews and post-engagement assessments.
Qualifications
- CPA designation in good standing.
- 5–8 years of progressive public accounting experience, ideally with exposure to publicly listed clients or IPO readiness.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and PCAOB auditing standards.
- Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements is a strong asset.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage competing priorities.
