Support the effective provision or water-related services, including water treatment, distribution, testing, reporting, and regulatory approval applications. Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of water and sewer lines; operating equipment for water line repairs and landscaping restoration. Collect and analyze GPS data to support map production and infrastructure planning. Monitor and troubleshoot data related to SCADA system reporting to ensure operational efficiency. Assist with water hauling, site maintenance, and operation of industry tools and machinery.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Experience with water system maintenance, equipment operation, safety practices, and general mechanical work
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally using courtesy, tact and discretion when addressing requests, complaints and clarification
- Class 5 AB Driver's License, and the physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Preference to candidates possessing Alberta Environment Class l Certificate of Qualification in water treatment, water distribution, wastewater treatment, and wastewater collection
