Yard Supervisor
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Yard Supervisor leads daily yard operations, ensuring safe and efficient loading, unloading, shipping, receiving and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support yard team members.
- Coordinate workloads and customer orders.
- Oversee shipping and receiving accuracy.
- Ensure quality and customer requirements are met.
- Monitor performance and productivity.
- Maintain a safe and organized yard.
- Resolve operational challenges proactively.
- Enforce Company quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a related trade is an asset.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- Manufacturing, logistics or yard operations background.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
