About the Role We're seeking Digital Merchandising Specialist to join our team. The Digital Merchandising Specialist will support the department by delivering key projects & initiatives on the eCommerce OCS.ca website (B2C) and retailer wholesale portal (B2B), and per the multi-year digital merchandising strategy. This role will also assist with day-to-day responsibilities such as creating curated product collections, auditing product attributes, analyzing digital performance & user behavior, managing navigational elements, filters, and using research to make recommendations for path-to-product enhancements. The Digital Merchandising Specialist will also have an opportunity to own and manage specific/key pieces of digital real estate, on both B2C & B2B + in partnership with UX. About Your Day - Implement and manage product tags for improved search and categorization.
- Collaborate with the Digital Experience (DX) team to provide monthly brand features for updating brand grids.
- Vet product information for accuracy after PC launches and flag any inaccuracies
- Continuously monitor and address product accuracy, notifying relevant teams of item updates when inaccuracies are detected
- Support marketing campaigns through a variety of digital merchandising activities
- Assist with new collection creation to align with merchandising calendar
- Create and maintain quarterly new product launch collection planning file
- Maintain collections by uploading new products to the site and audit accuracy on front end
- Update bestselling collections on a monthly and quarterly basis with latest data
- Work with digital analytics team to stand up robust reporting that provides insight into the path-to-product performance on both B2B & B2C
- Conduct analysis based on the data available to recommend path-to-product enhancements and to optimize key pieces of digital merchandising real estate, in partnership with UX
- Conduct competitive reviews and support the dept in staying on top of digital merchandising trends and innovation + documenting best practices
- Create and maintain Recall Notices, ensuring accuracy and timing
- Review weekly Customer Comments and make adjustments as required
- Maintain weekly / monthly / quarterly reports for the team on key metrics and make recommendations on leveraging these insights
- Support the Digital Merchandising Manager and Digital Experience team with ongoing projects as needed
- Identify process improvements and suggest ways of implementing these improvements + automating key tasks
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of product descriptions and attributes are accurate and meet OCS and Health Canada standards
About You - Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or Merchandising or equivalent of relevant experience is preferred
- 2 - 3 years' experience in digital merchandising or eCommerce
- Certification in e-commerce or equivalent is an asset
- High level of experience with Excel
- Experience with Shopify, D365, Google Analytics and/or Power BI is preferred
About the Job - This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. The current in office requirement is a minimum of 3 days/week (may be more depending on business needs). The OCS office is located near York Mills and Yonge Street. However, OCS reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.

Compensation The target hiring range for this position is $79,973- $84,000. This is a pay grade 8 Bargaining Unit role, with a salary range of $79,973- $97,745. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
