Senior VMware Consultant in Ottawa

Elevate your career as a Senior VMware Consultant focusing on enterprise virtualization and cloud solutions. This hybrid role requires local expertise in VMware technologies and Azure IaaS with 12 onsite days monthly. We seek a seasoned VMware Virtual Infrastructure Specialist to enhance our client's cloud infrastructure. This position emphasizes operational efficiency through automation and requires after-hours support within an on-call rotation. You'll work closely with VMware technologies, cyber compliance, and disaster recovery strategies to drive impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage VMware Cloud Foundation and its ecosystems
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents
• Support disaster recovery solutions via vSphere Replication
• Execute automation pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps
• Maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in enterprise virtualization
• 3 years with Azure IaaS and DevOps
• Proficient in VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation
• Strong scripting skills, notably PowerShell and Python
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
