Retail Budtender

Job Responsibility:

Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs, educating them about various strains and consumption methods, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized service to enhance their shopping experience.
• Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs.
• Educate customers about different strains, effects, and consumption methods.
• Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, including restocking shelves as needed.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary to manage inventory and product displays.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive work environment and effective operations

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in the cannabis industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide team members when needed.
• Proficiency in computer operation for managing sales transactions and inventory records.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely as required by the role.
