Technology Architect For Public Safety Projects Lanark County

Drive innovation as a Technology Architect with the Ontario Public Safety Radio Network, focusing on critical telecommunications modernization. This role is pivotal for emergency responder communications. Join the Emergency Services Telecommunications Division in modernizing the PSRN system.
As an intermediate architect, you'll implement technical architectures and manage vendor relations while ensuring compatibility with national networks. Extensive experience across multiple platforms and systems is essential to effectively lead and guide project initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design and implementation of technical architectures
- Manage vendor coordination and stakeholder relationships
- Conduct business analysis and risk assessments
- Employ structured design methodologies for systems development
- Manage network design and resource acquisition
Requirements:
- Minimum eight years in P25 radio technology
- Five years in network management roles
- Hands-on experience with Motorola software and encryption tools
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to secure OPP Level 4 Security Clearance
