Roles/Requirements:

• Assemble components as required for the construction of HVAC equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble metal products.
• Measuring, cutting, grinding, all necessary components together, perform a quality check, and update supervisor on progress.
• Use of hand and power tools.
• Following blueprint diagrams to build HVAC units.
• Components range from small parts to large parts for assembling. Components range from 5lbs to 50lbs depending on the job.
• Assembly of HVAC equipment.

• Assist other workers within the department to complete urgent tasks safely
• Detail each unit before shipping
• Build crates
• Follow codes, regulations and accepted safety practices
• Meet all company, governmental, and equipment related safety requirements
• General Maintenance
• And other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

The work is most rewarding for those who enjoy working with little direction or supervision. People in this field also enjoy variety in a job as well as security.

To be successful in this trade must have:

• experience in manufacturing
• the ability to work with little supervision
• the skill to diagnose problems
• the ability to use proper lifting techniques for items weighing up to -and more than- 25 kilogram
• the ability to deal courteously with employees
• Must own tools including drill and grinder
• First Aid Ticket, Forklift and Crane Certificate will be an asset
