Global Transaction Tax Manager

Lead global transaction tax diligence and structuring for Alvarez & Marsal clients, evaluating risks, opportunities, and tax-efficient deal approaches.As Manager, Global Transaction Tax, you will apply increasingly complex tax concepts to corporate and private equity transactions. Your work includes tax returns, financial models, purchase agreements, and client-focused planning. You will coordinate with state, local, international, financial, and operational diligence professionals to deliver integrated work products.Key Responsibilities:
Perform tax due diligence across transaction life cyclesIdentify tax risks, opportunities, efficiencies, and post-closing mattersStructure transactions and evaluate acquisition structuresModel transaction scenarios and review tax attributesComment on purchase agreements and disclosure schedulesRequirements:
CPA, JD, Master of Taxation, or LLMExperience in a mergers and acquisitions tax practiceKnowledge of accounting and financial reportingStrong writing, analytical, research, Excel, and organizational skillsStrong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skillsBring transaction tax expertise, diligence judgment, and collaborative client service to Alvarez & Marsal's global tax team.
