Overview

Provide an exceptional experience for CertaPro Painters’ customers to dramatically differentiate ourselves from our competition and to further ‘Deliver Extraordinary Experiences’. Fulfill the obligations of the essential functions: Production, Quality Assurance, Administration, Safety, and Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional job opportunity for CertaPro Painters’ Job Site Supervisors so as to differentiate ourselves from our competitors as the employer of choice in the painting labor work force.
• Provide exceptional support to CertaPro Painters’ Job Site Supervisors and build a performance culture among the team.
• Service all CertaPro Painters’ customers with the objective of meeting their painting needs and building customers for life.
• Develop a close working relationship with the Residential Sales Associate and the Office Associate to ensure all expectations set forth with the customers are met and best executed.
• Develop a recruiting, development, and retention program for the Job Site Supervisors as well as properly onboarding them to set them up for production success.
• Ensure that all field programs and systems are being executed.
• Responsible for providing ongoing training and inspections related to safety, as well as conducting safety meetings.
• Responsible for ensuring that all crews are following WorkSafeBC health and safety guidelines, provincial environmental regulations, and possess and maintain the required safety documentation (WHMIS/SDS).

Qualifications And Skills

• License Requirement: A valid, unrestricted driver’s license, a clean driving record, reliable personal transportation, and valid insurance are strictly required. This position requires daily travel to and from active job sites.
• Experience & Education: 1 year of experience in the home services industry OR 3+ years of experience in client-facing/customer service roles (such as retail management, banking, hospitality, or corporate customer support) is highly desirable. Any degree or diploma is required. No prior painting industry experience required—we will fully train you!
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills with a friendly, positive demeanor. Strong proof-reading and basic math skills for project estimation.
• Core Strengths: High attention to detail, strong work ethic, results-driven, meticulous, clean, and taking genuine pride in your work.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency.
• Goal-Oriented: Proven track record of the ability to set, meet, and exceed operational goals.
• Availability: Ability to work Monday–Friday, with flexibility depending on project needs.
