In this role, you will work as a technical consultant and trusted advisor. We are looking for professionals who are interested in evolving as seller-doers: individuals who lead by example through strong technical work and who, over time, contribute to identifying opportunities, supporting proposals and strengthening client relationships. Lead instrumentation, control system and automation scopes, including scope definition, budgets, schedules and delivery trackingServe as a primary technical interface with clients, building trusted relationships and supporting long‑term account developmentPrepare and review engineering deliverables in accordance with BBA and client standards (e.G., P&IDs, specifications, drawings, network and panel designs)Design, integrate, program and commission PLC, HMI, DCS, and industrial communication systemsContribute to proposal development through scope definition, cost estimation, scheduling and technical positioningPerform site support activities including inspections, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning in Canada and abroadDo your qualities and values match our corporate culture?

Engineering degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or instrumentation and controls15+ years of relevant consulting or industrial experienceHands‑on experience programming and commissioning control systems (ABB, Honeywell, Schneider/Modicon, Rockwell, etc.)Ability to prepare, review and interpret logic diagrams, functional specifications and control narrativesExperience with industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, etc.)Strong troubleshooting, commissioning and system integration experienceExperience delivering projects in the mining, industrial or energy sectorWillingness to travel to client sites locally and internationallyExcellent communication skills (spoken and written)Strong organizational skills and professional judgmentRegistered with APEGA as a P.EngAn Overview Of BBA’s Total Rewards
