Telesat is searching for a Senior NMS Software Developer within the Lightspeed System Development team. This role requires a strong software engineering background, focusing on developing high-capacity Network Management and OSS platforms. You’ll engage in critical tasks like service fulfillment, network automation, and integrating key systems to ensure robust satellite communications. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop OSS/NMS applications for service assurance
- Build network automation and telemetry capabilities
- Integrate various platforms with NMS/OSS technologies
- Lead troubleshooting of distributed software and network issues
- Design CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years in telecommunications management systems
- Proficient in Go, Python, or Java
- Strong knowledge of APIs and software architecture
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices
