Trader

Job Responsibility:

We are actively seeking a talented and driven Trader to join our dynamic team at AimStar. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in executing trades, analyzing market trends, and contributing to the overall success of our trading operations.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for daily monitoring of capital movements and transactions for all portfolios.

· Organizing and building trade lists.

· Execute trades on large volumes of high value trades on various platforms in compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

· Monitor market conditions and news to make informed trading decisions.

· Manage trade orders efficiently and ensure timely execution.

· Work closely with other members of the trading desk to align trading strategies with overall investment objectives.

· Investigate and resolve both simple and complex price challenges.

· Communicate trade allocations across all markets to brokers, custodians when necessary, verifying trades settle on time and research and correct any trade discrepancies.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, or a related field.

· 5+ years of finance industry experience with at least two years of trading equity, fixed income, FX, and/or derivatives.

· Trading or investment management operations experience, buy/sell side research, etc

· An enthusiasm and willingness to stay up to date and informed on capital markets and the stock market.

· Proficiency in using trading platforms and related technologies.

· Excellent communication and listening skills to understand business needs and trading strategies and translate those needs into workable solutions.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $80,000.00 per year
