Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping and Receiving
Location: CA 2- Bridgewater, NS
Pay Range: 19.05/hour plus applicable premiums
Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
What's the Job?
- Prepare and inspect pallets for incoming products to ensure accuracy and quality
- Verify products and labels using a computer system to maintain inventory integrity
- Place products onto designated pallets following safety and organizational standards
- Apply identification labels as required to facilitate tracking and identification
- Sort and separate non-conforming products to uphold quality standards
What's Needed?
- Comfortable performing repetitive lifting throughout the shift
- Basic computer skills for data entry and verification
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including days and nights
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location
