Sales Team - Logistics

We are seeking a service-minded sales team who will report to the Sales Engagement Manager. In this position, your responsibilities would include securing new accounts, negotiating contracts and communicating with dispatchers, drivers and customers.
As a Sales Team at Dass Logistics you will:
- Make prospecting calls to provide logistics solutions for your future clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers resulting in residual business
- Negotiate rates and bid on future business
- Collect and file necessary paperwork for timely payment
- Perform various account management tasks such as load building, appointment scheduling, phone management and email correspondence
- Perform heavy cold-calling to build a pipeline of businesses
- Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets

Qualifications:
- Concentrated work ethic, problem solving skills and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivation and keen negotiating skills
- A positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Proficiency in keyboarding and ability to maintain the technical knowledge necessary to perform the hob effectively, specifically Microsoft Office products.
- Phone sales experience is preferred
- Second or third language is an asset
