Pub Bartender

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience while adhering to food safety and handling standards.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash, credit/debit handling procedures are followed.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies, reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations in all aspects of food handling.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve certification is required.
• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage preparation, and food safety practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $17.20 per hour
