Shipper/Receiver - Mining - Sparwood (x4)

Liebherr-Canada is looking for Shippers/Receivers, to support a significant Mining project with Elk Valley Resources, owned by Glencore Canada, in Sparwood, British Columbia. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced technicians to bring their expertise and play a key role in the success of this initiative.

You will work a 14-days-on / 14-days-off schedule, with day and night rotation shifts, and with the opportunity for overtime on days off. You will be responsible for supporting the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing shipments while contributing to the day-to-day operations of the Parts and Service departments.

In this role, your daily tasks will include receiving, processing, preparing, and shipping orders, as well as loading, unloading, packaging, and storing materials. You will also provide administrative support related to parts and service activities, ensuring accuracy, organization, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process Transfer Orders, Purchase Orders, and Delivery Documentation
• Prepare shipments and create labels
• Contact shipping companies and arrange pick up or delivery
• Audit unallocated inventory list and assign bins.
• File necessary paperwork and stay organized
• Make sure warehouse is clean, tidy and safe for all team members
• Cycle count daily
• Work with component and re-manufacturing department on various warehouse activities
• Organize warehouse and locations for flow
• Identify priorities for the day (shipping and receiving areas)
• Check of warehouse and note of all empty spaces and opportunities for improvement
• Weekly major clean up
• Works with Warranty team to process items for shipping
• Process cores to make sure that all items are stored, packed and shipped back to the factory
• Additional duties as requested

Competencies

• All applicants need to be able to secure and maintain mine site access (D&A tests, security check)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You are self-motivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work with computers and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work in collaboration with Parts Advisors and Service Team on parts movement
• Organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast, ever-changing environment.
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs
