Responsibilities
- Lead development and delivery of integrated public affairs programs across priority therapy areas, focusing on HIV
- Design and implement patient-centric disease awareness and communications campaigns
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with patient organisations, advocacy groups, and healthcare stakeholders
- Lead proactive and reactive media engagement and oversee high-quality communications materials
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Medical, Market Access, Commercial, and Government Affairs teams
Requirements
- 8+ years in public affairs, communications, or government relations in pharma or healthcare
- Experience with HIV landscape in Canada or strong understanding of it
- Proven media relations and issues management expertise in Canadian healthcare
- Experience developing and executing integrated multi-channel communications campaigns
- Knowledge of Canadian healthcare policy, access environment, and reimbursement processes
- Ability to translate complex scientific and policy information into clear narratives
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, especially with patient advocacy organisations
