Critical Mineral Investments Senior Manager

Drive strategic investments with Export Development Canada as a Senior Manager in Critical Mineral Investments. Lead complex transactions and shape Canada’s critical minerals value chain in a hybrid work environment. As a Senior Manager at EDC, you will report to the Director of the Canada Critical Mineral Accelerator (CCMA). Your role focuses on originating, structuring, and executing key investments, providing a range of financing solutions from equity to structured finance. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including investors and governments, to bolster critical minerals projects across Canada. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead essential transactions in mining and critical minerals
- Originate and structure investment opportunities aligned with CCMA objectives
- Manage relationships with project sponsors and investors
- Negotiate complex financial and investment agreements
- Oversee portfolio performance and mitigate risks
- 10+ years in project finance or infrastructure investing
- Proven track record in leading complex transactions
- Strong skills in negotiation and stakeholder management
- Relevant experience in critical minerals or natural resources
- Post-secondary degree in finance, business, or related field
