We are looking for a compassionate caregiver for our adult son, who has a brain injury. He is high-functioning but nonverbal, so we need someone comfortable supporting a person with a speech impairment. This is a full-time, live-out position for 30–40 hours per week, with an immediate start. We need availability Monday through Saturday, with shifts that may fall in the morning, midday or evening. Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and walking; preparing meals; and accompanying our son to appointments and visits with neighbours, friends and family. The role also includes housekeeping, laundry, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, washing dishes by hand and helping with pet care. A driver’s licence is not required. (Full-Time, Live-Out) For morning, day, evening (on weekend)
