As a full-time, permanent Pension and Benefits Specialist, the role demands 4–6+ years of experience in diverse benefits plans. You will lead system integrations, advise on policies, and produce reports meeting compliance standards. Building effective relationships with service providers and supporting HR teams will also be crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare regulatory pension filings and benefits reports
• Administer benefits plans per corporate governance
• Lead the implementation of HR-related systems
• Suggest improvements to pension processes
• Manage claims and resolve coverage issues
Requirements:
• 4–6+ years in pension and benefits roles
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian benefits legislation
• 2–3 years of experience with SAP or similar HRIS
• College degree; CEBS designation is preferred
• Total Rewards experience is highly valued
