Delphi Developer

Job Responsibility:

mdf commerce Inc . is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

Working in the emarketplaces sector, we are currently looking for a Delphi Developer to join team at Carrus .

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In this role, you will be led to:

• Collaborate with peers and the product manager to deliver value to customers.
• Propose innovative solutions to meet business needs.
• Participate in the design, development and deployment of micro-services, API and web applications.
• Develop solutions using programming languages and modern cloud concepts.
• Write automated tests and write infrastructure as code.
• Participate in debugging and problem solving.
• Design and implement user interfaces for web applications.
• Build and deliver quality commercial enterprise software in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
• Perform initial analysis, architecture, development and testing.
• Understand customer needs and build appropriate technical solutions.
• Be a key participant in product planning, reviews, and backlog maintenance.
• Review and challenge product requirements to help the team develop optimal solutions.
• Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve the development process and further automate development and test operations.

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in software development or other relevant program.
• 5 years' work experience in a similar position.
• Mastery of the Delphi language.
• Knowledge of unit testing, processes and best practices.
• Ability to work in an environment undergoing Agile/Scrum/DevOps transformation.
• Good knowledge of development processes, tools and methodology.
• Dynamic, energetic and solution-oriented.
• Strong interest in developing technical knowledge and expertise.
• Good communication skills, good listening skills, customer-oriented.
• Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada (and elsewhere if applicable).

What are the assets that would make you stand out?

• Experience with relational databases.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of one or more WEB programming languages—Java with Spring, JavaScript (NodeJS), CSS, HTML, TypeScript, SQL, React, etc.
