Job Title : Sanitation Associate- Warehouse
Location: Guelph (Aberfoyle), ON
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday (days and/or afternoons)
Pay Rate: $22.00 - 23.00/hr.
Our client, a leading distributor of food-grade products, is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment in accordance with food safety and quality standards.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production, warehouse, and common areas in accordance with food safety standards.
- Clean and disinfect equipment, machinery, floors, walls, and work surfaces using industrial cleaning tools and equipment
- Follow sanitation schedules and documented cleaning procedures.
- Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies.
- Remove waste, recyclables, and other materials from designated areas.
- Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.
- Report any maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support quality assurance and food safety initiatives, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Maintain accurate sanitation records and complete required documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience preferably within a food graded facility
- Ability to walk, stand and bend within a large facility
- Previous experience with industrial cleaning machines
- Reliable transportation (no bus route)
