Escape Trailer is looking for an experienced and hands-on Director of Supply Chain to join our team. This role is both strategic and operational, responsible for ensuring all materials and components are planned, procured, and delivered on time to support production. You will play a key role in vendor management, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives while helping scale our operations efficiently.

Overview:
The Director of Supply Chain is accountable for production planning as well as all vendors contributing to the production process. This role ensures all parts are purchased and delivered on time while seeking best value from suppliers. You will organize systems efficiently, remove bureaucracy, and implement lean and visual systems to control and manage inventory.
As a Director of Supply Chain your role includes:
• Plan, procure, and deliver materials to pre-production and assembly lines
• Negotiate with vendors ensuring on-time or expedited delivery of assemblies and parts
• Improve all aspects of supply chain process through continuous review and optimization
• Organize and oversee inventory with detailed tracking of usage and availability
• Maintain strong vendor relationships aligned with company values
• Research cost-effective shipping and logistics solutions
• Develop and negotiate supplier agreements to achieve best value
• Support new product development, logistics, and inventory planning
• Lead, train, and develop a large Supply Chain team
• Monitor schedules, productivity, and performance
Preferred Skills/Requirements:
· 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing Management, or Supplier/Business Development, preferably in manufacturing
• Previous leadership experience at a Director level
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including MRP, Should Cost Analysis, and Strategic Sourcing strategies
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, functions, data management)
• Extensive experience building and managing ERP inventory systems and databases; strong preference for experience using Business Central
• Strong negotiation and vendor/partner management skills
• Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to enter the USA
• Post-secondary education in Business or Supply Chain is an asset
· Experience with sourcing products from overseas into Canada and/or the USA
