Join the STRIKE team at SecurityScorecard as a Senior Research Engineer to redefine cybersecurity outputs. This hands-on role transforms research into practical applications in threat intelligence.
You play a pivotal role in bridging research and engineering in this hybrid position. In collaboration with the STRIKE team, you’ll convert research findings into finished products, including detection rules and alert systems. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact cybersecurity practices through innovative engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transform research outputs into production artifacts
• Maintain and enhance STRIKE platform components
• Develop detection content based on research findings
• Foster schema adoption for standardization
• Automate and streamline research workflows
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
• 5-8 years of engineering experience in threat intelligence
• Proficient with Python and TypeScript/Node
• Exposure to STIX 2.1 and TAXII 2.1 standards
• Knowledge in YARA and Sigma detection tools
