La direction d'école assure un leadership collaboratif et positif pour le rayonnement de l'éducation en français, inspire les communautés-écoles par une culture francophone vivante et assure chez l'élève l'acquisition d'habiletés essentielles de vie et d'avenir. La Direction d'école est leader dans la vérité et la réconciliation, s'engage à créer des relations bienveillantes avec les élèves, le personnel, la communauté et elle assure un environnement scolaire inclusif, sécuritaire et accueillant, qui célèbre la diversité culturelle et favorise le bien-être de tous·tes.

- Assurer la gestion quotidienne reliée aux opérations de l’école, notamment, sans s’y limiter, la gestion du personnel, la gestion financière, la maintenance ainsi que le respect et l’application des normes en matière de santé et de sécurité ;
- S'engager à créer des relations bienveillantes avec les élèves, le personnel, les parents et à célébrer leur diversité ;
- Adhérer aux valeurs et à la vision du CSF (engager, collaborer, innover), du ministère de l'Éducation, des services de la petite enfance de la Colombie-Britannique ( et respecter le code professionnel et le code éthique de la BCPVPA ;
- S'engager à comprendre, connaitre et faire vivre les principes d'apprentissages autochtones, à enseigner l'Histoire des autochtones de la Colombie-Britannique et du Canada en mettant l'emphase sur la Nation locale ainsi que sur la réconciliation ;
- Créer un environnement d’apprentissage engageant, sécuritaire, inclusif, bienveillant et collaboratif qui favorise le bien-être de tous·tes ;
- Impliquer les parents/tuteur·rices et membres de la communauté en valorisant leur participation à la vie scolaire des élèves et en assurant une communication continue, proactive et bienveillante ;
- Assurer son propre développement professionnel de manière continue afin de se garder à jour avec les recherches probantes dans le domaine de l'éducation ;
- Valoriser la pluralité linguistique et culturelle, favoriser le développement d'un sentiment d'appartenance fort et l'engagement de chacun à l'essor de la communauté francophone de la Colombie-Britannique unifiée dans sa diversité.
Qualifications
- Détenir ou vous engager à obtenir un diplôme de 2e cycle en administration scolaire ou en éducation, ou une spécialisation en éducation ou dans une discipline connexe au leadership en éducation.
- Être titulaire d’un certificat d’enseignement émis par le Teacher Certification Branch (TCB) de la Colombie-Britannique
- Avoir cumulé un minimum de cinq (5) années d’expérience en enseignement à l’élémentaire et/ou au secondaire dans un milieu francophone minoritaire ;
- Posséder une excellente connaissance des programmes d’études, des pratiques pédagogiques et évaluatives et de leur impact sur le développement, l’engagement et l’apprentissage des élèves ;
- Maîtriser le français et l'anglais à l'oral et à l'écrit.
Le salaire annuel pour ce poste est de 161 864 $. Les salaires sont définis en conformités avec les normes et lignes directrices de la PSEC.
