Responsibilities
Tasks
- Conduct audiometric tests and examinations
- Follow up with patients to ensure assigned remedial programs are correctly followed and completed
- Supervise technical and support staff
- Diagnose the degree and type of hearing impairment
- Plan and implement habilitation/rehabilitation programs
- Provide information to patients and families regarding the nature, extent, impact and implications of hearing loss and treatment
