Senior Designer (100% Remote, Canada)

Mountain Stone runs growth for Shopify Plus brands. We install and operate The Mountain Stone Method across acquisition, conversion, and lifecycle.

We are hiring a Senior Designer to own the creative execution that powers this engine.

The Role

You will produce high-volume creative across 5 to 8 brands simultaneously. Our portfolio spans beauty, fragrance, leather goods, accessories, and supplements. These brands spend $30K to $300K+ monthly on ads. Your design decisions will directly impact revenue performance.

You will work inside our structured systems. Every brief includes the brand’s Spine, product economics, performance data, and a clear hypothesis. You will design with the same deep operating intelligence we use to scale campaigns.

Brand voice matters deeply. You must maintain each brand's distinct visual registry seamlessly across paid, email, and content surfaces.

What You Will Produce

• Paid Ads: Static and motion assets for Meta, TikTok, and Google.
• Lifecycle Creative: High-performing email and SMS designs for Klaviyo.
• Creator Direction: UGC briefs and creative direction for brands.
• Brand Systems: Occasional identity refinement, content design, and system building.

What We Want To See

• Experience: 5+ years producing high-volume creative for DTC Shopify brands.
• Data-Driven Portfolio: Visuals that prove paid ad performance, not just polished art.
• Autonomy: Senior enough to direct creators and ship clean files without a manager peering over your shoulder.
• Tech Stack: Mastery of your preferred design stack (Photoshop, Figma, Canva, or Illustrator). We prioritize asset quality, speed, and conversion performance over specific software choices.
• Motion Comfort: Proficient with After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent motion tools to efficiently build high-performing ad hooks.
• Industry Aware: Active alignment with e-commerce design benchmarks (e.g., ReallyGoodEmails, Foreplay, and high-converting competitor swipe files).
• Brand Adaptability: The ability to pivot seamlessly between different brand aesthetics.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $125,000 CAD. We establish fixed compensation at approximately 20% above the regional market baseline. We do not utilize artificial salary ranges or bait-and-switch recruitment tactics. This figure reflects our clear standard for senior-level execution.
