Lead Actuary in Pricing Models

Become a Lead Actuary focusing on Pricing Models with Wawanesa. This role offers hybrid work options while driving technical advancements in loss cost modeling and mentorship. As a Lead Actuary, you will spearhead initiatives that refine Wawanesa's pricing models and loss cost analysis capabilities. Engage in complex projects, advocating for innovative improvements and serving as a mentor within the organization. You will ensure effective project documentation and peer elevation while managing multiple assignments. Key Responsibilities:
- Master selection and interpretation of data
- Lead complex projects with minimal oversight
- Design efficient processes to enhance productivity
- Innovate solutions for complex actuarial problems
- Document projects and train peers effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, R, Python
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in actuarial contexts
- Experience in coaching analysts and managers
