Data Governance Senior Consultant Remote

Alberta Precision Labs

Elevate organizational data practices as a Senior Consultant in Data Intelligence & Governance with Alberta Precision Labs. This remote role focuses on enhancing data literacy and governance. Alberta Precision Labs is seeking a data professional with strong relationship-building and communication skills. In this Senior Consultant role, you will lead cross-functional initiatives that aim to improve data quality and stewardship. Your efforts will support informed decision-making and establish learning experiences that enable confident data usage. Key Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional data governance projects
Advise on governance frameworks and stewardship models
Design and evaluate data literacy learning tools
Facilitate working groups and consensus-building discussions
Manage project plans, risks, and deliverables

Requirements:

Post-secondary degree in related field
Minimum three years in data governance or similar role
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
Familiarity with enterprise data catalogues
