Clinical Psychiatrist in Private Practice

Enhance mental health care as a Clinical Psychiatrist in a private practice. This role focuses on diagnosing disorders, prescribing treatments, and fostering inclusivity in diverse populations. As a Clinical Psychiatrist, you will diagnose various psychiatric disorders and provide comprehensive care. You'll be prescribing medications, referring patients for surgical evaluations, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests. Moreover, you will actively promote training and awareness to cater to diverse populations, including newcomers, youths, veterans, and Indigenous people. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose various psychiatric disorders in patients
• Prescribe necessary medications and treatments
• Refer patients for surgical evaluations as needed
• Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
• Promote awareness and training for diverse populations

Requirements:

• Degree in medicine or related field required
• Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) mandatory
• Royal College Certification in Psychiatry needed
• Relevant provincial licensure is essential
• Previous experience is an asset
