GrizzlyTrek is hiring a B Pressure Welder for generator installs in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. Pay is $46.00 per hour for employees and $55.00 per hour for DSP. It is fly-in fly-out on a 3/1 rotation with 12 hour days. Travel to and from site is booked for you, housing is provided, and a $100 per day per diem covers your food. Start is ASAP to mid October, running to the Christmas break at minimum.

The Site

Rankin Inlet is a fly-in community on the west coast of Hudson Bay. The scope on this job is generator installs. Flights and housing are arranged for you, so you arrive ready to work the rotation.

What You'll Do

• Weld pressure piping for generator installs to the drawings and weld procedures provided
• Fit up, tack and weld pipe, fittings and supports to the job's quality standard
• Prep joints and keep the work clean and ready to weld
• Work alongside the pipefitters and other trades on site to keep the install on schedule
• Check your own welds and support inspection and testing of finished work
• Complete client orientations, take part in safety meetings, and follow site safety procedures

• Able to work 12 hour days on a 3/1 rotation, fly-in fly-out
• Available to start ASAP to mid October, through to the Christmas break at minimum
