Custodian

Responsibilities

• Maintains the cleanliness of the entire casino premises to a very high standard
• Cleans the entire casino (indoors)
• Steam cleans all carpets (each quarter)
• Dusts high places (chandeliers, animal mounts and ledges)
• Every day – cleans all washrooms, cleans toilets, cleans toilet stalls, cleans sanitary napkin trash cans, cleans sinks, cleans mirrors and replenishes toilet paper, paper towel and soap
• Cleans casino equipment (ATM machines, kiosk machines, monitors, etc.)
• Strips and waxes assigned floors
• Orders supplies as needed
• Inspects public areas to ensure Eagle River Casino & Travel Plaza highest standards are maintained and adhered to
• Maintains supplies inventory and contributes to the economical operation of the company through effective and timely control/acquisition of supplies and equipment for the department
• Performs other tasks assigned
• Repetitive tasks
• Minimal security tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred (but not necessary)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to stand/walk for 8 hours/day
• Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
• Able to work in a smoking environment
• The schedule for this position may vary and would require shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays as a majority of the cleaning is done after we are closed (3:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Must be able to obtain an AGLC license
