Senior Pensions Actuary

Winnipeg | Also open to Ottawa, Toronto or Edmonton

We are hiring for a senior actuarial hire for a well-regarded consulting team looking to add a genuinely technical, hands‑on actuary to the group.

This is a strong fit for someone with 8+ years of experience who still enjoys being close to the technical work, rather than sitting purely in a client-facing or relationship‑led remit.

They are open to speaking with people who can both lead technical reviews and co‑sign work, as well as those who are more purely technical specialists. The key is depth, credibility, and a willingness to stay close to the detail.

Winnipeg is the priority location for this hire, though there is flexibility to consider strong individuals in Ottawa, Toronto, or Edmonton. While there is some flexibility around working arrangements, this is a team that places real value on in‑person collaboration, so candidates who are happy to be in the office on a hybrid basis will be especially well received.

What they’re looking for:

• 8+ years of actuarial experience (Pensions)
• FCIA preferred
• Strong technical and hands‑on actuarial capability
• Someone able to review work and potentially co‑sign reports, or a highly credible technical individual contributor
• A profile that is still close to the actuarial work, rather than predominantly client‑facing
• Willingness to work in person with the wider team on a regular basis
