Field Materials Technician at Allnorth

Join Allnorth Consultants Limited as a Field Materials Technician in Saskatoon, supporting remote projects across Northern Ontario. This hands-on, fly-in/fly-out position requires lab and field testing expertise. As a Field Materials Technician, you'll work closely with the Field Lead on various testing of aggregates, soils, and concrete, ideal for candidates who thrive in camp environments. Your responsibilities include mentoring junior team members and ensuring laboratory certifications are maintained. Effective communication of test results to internal staff and external clients is essential to the role. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field and lab testing of materials
• Mentor new and junior employees in their roles
• Communicate technical information to stakeholders
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and calibration
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines

Requirements:

• 1+ years of lab and field testing experience
• CCIL and/or CSA certification preferred
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration
• Valid driver’s license and clean record
• Willingness to travel across Northern Ontario
