Plant Finance Controller Chatham

Own plant finance for JM Controls & Electric in Chatham, Ontario, using financial reporting, job costing, and operational analysis. Occasional site visits are required.AdeptAg seeks an experienced Controller to lead finance for the Plantech Control Solutions business unit. You will oversee three divisions, partner with operations leaders, and strengthen consistent accounting practices. The work includes close management, project cash flows, tax filings, budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and profitability recommendations.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end statementsReview reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and auditsLead annual budgets and forecast updates for locationsProvide variance analysis, KPIs, and management recommendationsPartner on cost control and project profitabilityRequirements:
CPA and degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldEight-plus years of progressive accounting experienceThree-plus years in Controller or comparable leadership positionExperience with inventory, job costing, WIP, and overheadCollaborative, hands-on leadership style with strong Excel skillsBring hands-on plant finance leadership, reporting discipline, and profitability analysis to AdeptAg’s Chatham-based Controller position.
