Drive data architecture as a Senior Backend Engineer with Affi, focusing on marketing technology and measurement systems in a remote environment. As a Senior Software Engineer in the Marketing & Privacy Engineering (MPE) team, you will lead the design and implementation of backend systems that connect marketing initiatives with consumer outcomes. Your mission involves developing measurement frameworks, data pipelines, and attribution models that ensure accurate tracking of consumer activities. A passion for data quality and operational reliability will be essential while you provide mentorship and guidance to enhance your team's capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team
- Collaborate with product management and design
- Identify and resolve tech or process issues proactively
- Create and monitor operational metrics
- Advocate for quality coding and design standards
- 4+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin
- Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of GTM, GA4, and CDPs
- Strong communication skills for global collaboration
