Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls regarding tenant requests.
• Carry out various carpentry tasks in buildings.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Professional Requirements

• High School Diploma (DES - Secondary 5)
• Hold a recognized journeyman carpenter license from the CCQ (Quebec Construction Commission) or RBQ (Quebec Building Board)
• Five (5) years of experience as a general maintenance carpenter.

Technical Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and own a car at the time of hiring
• Knowledge of spoken and written French
• Knowledge of English - an asset
• Non-Technical Requirements
• Good knowledge of techniques and practices used in the trade.
• Ability to work and perform tasks according to trade rules, established procedures, and independently.
• Ability to assess and manage job risks and take safety precautions.
