Job : The Registered Nurse will function in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Responsibilities include education and preparation of clients (Pediatric and Adult) undergoing a variety of Medical Imaging procedures. The RN will assist the Radiologist/Specialist during procedures and perform direct nursing assessment and care as appropriate to ensure the safety of clients undergoing procedures. The RN will prepare for and respond to fluctuating workloads, unexpected critical situations, and the requirement to work in all modalities of Medical Imaging. The RN will collaborate with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to continually evaluate the client's care and condition while in the Medical Imaging Departments.

Experience
- Previous experience must include at least 1 year in Emergency nursing
- Experience in critical care is an asset
- Requires extensive knowledge & experience within all Medical Imaging modalities
- One (1) of which must be experience in the Adult Endoscopy clinical area
- Min 1 yr recent clinical experience in Critical Care, MI, OR, or IR
Education
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
Other Education and Training
- Completion of Vascular Access certification within 2 years of commencement
- Certification in Critical Care, OR, or equivalent in Interventional Rad an asset
