Upstreet Craft Brewing is looking for a full time, permanent packaging line operator. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who can work consistently in a high-paced, physically demanding environment. The packaging line operator will be responsible for packaging our products into kegs and cans, cleaning and maintenance of kegs and equipment, organizing inventory, keg deliveries, building multi-packs, and general brewery cleaning and sanitization. Training and supervision will be provided in a positive, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and compatible personality for working in a team environment
- Ability to do repetitive and physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Communication skills and ability to follow direction
- WHMIS, Forklift, and First Aid certificates an asset
- Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Class 5 driver's license is required, special circumstances will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Follow standard operating procedures to run canning and kegging lines
- Assemble packaging materials
- Inventory organization
- Keg deliveries
- Assisting the warehouse as needed
- Cleaning and sanitization of packaging equipment, and packaging area
- Follow safety protocols and training to ensure a safe working environment
