Food Service Supervisor

The duties and responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff members who prepare, portion and serve food
- Establish work schedule
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
- Ensure food and service meet quality standards
- Respond to customer complaints
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Prepare food order summaries
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Ensure that safety regulations are followed and monitor staff performance
- Participate and assist in the development of policies and procedures
- Plan menu offerings and estimate food and labor cost
