Automation QA Developer

Job Responsibility:

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing test automation scripts to ensure our web application's quality and reliability. If you are an experienced software automation QA with a development mindset and commitment towards excellence in quality - this is the position for you! Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with C#, Page Object Model (POM), and xUnit/NUnit frameworks
• Analyze and identify test scenarios to be automated
• Prepare testing artifacts such as test plans, strategies, test cases, and status reports
• Maintain and enhance test automation scripts
• Debug and troubleshoot failed test automation scripts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Provide technical guidance to the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Mentor and support QA team members in developing their automation skills and knowledge
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to share best practices, tools, and techniques with the rest of the QA team

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of QA processes, such as test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting
• Experienced in using Selenium C# WebDriver, C# scripting language, Page Object Model (POM), and xUnit/NUnit frameworks
• Experience with planning, writing, executing, maintaining, and troubleshooting test automation scripts
• Experience with automation of web-based applications, mobile automation testing and API web services
• Experience in designing and implementing parallel test execution strategies to optimize testing time and resources
• Good knowledge of version control tools such as Git
• Knowledge of Agile principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with working on multiple parallel projects in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment as well as in a self-guided manner with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

Nice-To-Haves

• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Azure Pipelines experience (e.g., running additional scripts, publishing reports)
• Experience with generating Selenium reports (such as Extent and Allure)
• Previous experience in the gaming industry is considered an asset
