Nanny Wanted - Hiring: Part Time, Long Term Nanny (20 30hrs/Wk)

My family is looking for a caring, active, reliable sitter/nanny to look after our sweet, playful, adventurous preschooler (4 years old) and equally sweet and cheeky twin siblings (2 years old) so the ideal candidate also has experience with both toddlers and multiples. There will be three children total to care for. This is a part-time position of 20-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 2:15pm. Pay is commensurate with experience so we're happy to chat about your wage expectations. We live on the border of Kanata South and Stittsville along two bus routes, and there is parking available if you have your own vehicle, which we recommend. Both parents regularly work from home and require this time for meetings/deep work. There may also be occasional opportunities for some additional hours (with lots of heads up). Only related, light housekeeping and meal prep is required, including tidying up any fun messes made while playing with the kiddo(s) and/or prepping and cleaning up after feeding them as needed. This includes cleaning them after meals and snacks. The play area will also need to be cleaned and reset at the end of the day. The main focus is on keeping the little ones entertained and engaged, which can include outdoor excursions to the nearby park. We are a smoke-free home and we have no pets. The ideal candidate for us:

• has a minimum of four years professional experience with toddlers
• has professional experience with multiples
• is a non-smoker
• has up-to-date first-aid training for young children
• has a completed vulnerable sector check, and
• is up-to-date with all of their vaccines.
