Senior Data Architect for Ontario Assembly

Shape the future of Ontario's Legislative Assembly as a Senior Data Architect in Information and Technology Services. Lead enterprise-wide data governance and management strategies to enhance legislative operations.
This new role reports to the Manager of Data Management & Preservation, focusing on delivering impactful data architecture aligned with organizational priorities. You will work collaboratively with a skilled team of information professionals while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance. This position is perfect for individuals skilled in data governance and with experience in public sector environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive data governance and management programs
• Create data architecture roadmaps in line with objectives
• Design models, taxonomies, and metadata frameworks
• Oversee data lifecycle processes including archiving and access
• Lead teams in data migrations and ensure secure access
Requirements:
• Degree in information management, technology, or computer science
• 5+ years in data governance or architecture
• Experience with public sector data frameworks
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Purview
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
Utilize your data management expertise to lead innovative projects that support the Ontario Legislative Assembly's mission.
