Senior Utility Infrastructure Project Director

Lead complex utility infrastructure projects as Project Director with Forbes Bros. Group of Companies through a hybrid Canada-based arrangement. Extensive North American travel is required.This senior leadership role oversees major transmission, substation, and capital construction programs. You will direct operational execution, commercial performance, and stakeholder relationships across multi-site projects. The position requires strong construction leadership, financial management, contract strategy, and executive communication.Key Responsibilities:
Direct utility infrastructure projects exceeding $500 millionOversee cross-border construction, logistics, resources, and sequencingManage P&L, forecasting, contracts, claims, and commercial risksResolve engineering, procurement, regulatory, and permitting challengesLead safety, quality, partnerships, and project leadership developmentRequirements:
Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field18–20+ years of progressive project delivery experienceSenior leadership experience in utility or large-scale constructionKnowledge of contracts, finance, joint ventures, and risk mitigationWillingness to travel extensively across Canada and United StatesApply senior project leadership, commercial expertise, and stakeholder management to major utility construction programs across North America.
